Barb Wilkie's EHN Website
Last updated 2008

EHN Board President Barb Wilkie was very ill from chemically-induced kidney disease for several years. She passed away May 31, 2011. EHN presents this site both as a tribute and as valuable information. Many links and references will be out of date but Barb's research holds up over time. We will be transferring the site page by page, with updated details, to EHN's main site. If you would like to reach an EHN staff person, please contact us directly.

Hi My name is Linda McElver and I facillitate an MCS support group called Central Coast Canaries. Once a month we meet at my safer house. The group consists of about 14 individuals. We got started in November of 1999. Our current project is to prepare a political action packet to take to our representatives and local government. I offer a canary email list and post information gathered from various web & list sources. To sign up send me an email and request subscribe to Canary List.

    • Non Toxic Schools Campaign:

My son and I have started a non toxic schools campaign not just MCS, but asthma, and other environmentally induced illnesses, and will have a nontoxicschools email list also. So would appreciate getting the word out.

Non Toxic Schools is currently working with other environmental groups on a IPM program for our county schools, and will be lobbying (at least will try to) for the Healthy School Act in Sacramento, next week. Hope to inspire a huge list of people who will respond to action alerts, and start a mass public campaign to protect our children. Contact Linda McElver
