IAQ threatens everyone!

Monday, January 31, 2000

Anne Jackson, EHA, writes: I didn't have time to prepare my remarks, so I spoke spontaneously. The gist of it was ...

... The issue wasn't actually about accommodating disabled people, despite the fact that we need it urgently. The biggest problem is one of indoor air quality and it threatens everyone.

I urged all persons in the room to take individual responsibility for what they had learned today, and especially educate others about the hazards of perfume and pesticides. Their children and their grand children are at risk. According to Kaye Kilburn, MD, quoted in JAMA, chemical brain injury poses a serious threat to our future; one which can threaten our very existence.
